Greater Louisville Billy Graham Crusade

Situation
The Billy Graham Crusade selected Louisville as the site of its June 2001 Crusade. Organizers needed assistance with publicity and logistics for the event.

Solution
BCG members coordinated the massive amount of media coverage, public relations and advance advertising involved in an event of this magnitude. In addition to extensive media relations,BCG members helped create and coordinate production of several facets of advertising and marketing.

Success
More than 180,000 people went to Louisville's Papa John's Cardinal Stadium over the four-day crusade. Operational media relations results included media coverage from worldwide news organizations and extensive coverage on all four Louisville network affiliate television stations; as well as front page, "top-of-the-fold" articles in Kentucky's largest newspaper, The Louisville Courier-Journal, five days in a row."
