Neil Kuvin
Neil has served as marketing and communications consultant to some of Kentucky's largest corporations, not-for-profits, government agencies, and their management teams, including the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, Jefferson County Public Schools, BlueCross and BlueShield of Kentucky, Rally's Hamburgers, Inc., The 2001 Billy Graham Crusade and Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp. During a 30-year career in television broadcasting, he has received numerous awards for his innovative video production and television work, and his dedication to serving all of the community constituencies. Neil is a former president and general manager of WHAS-TV, Kentucky's largest and most successful TV news operation.
 
 

Robert E. Dittmer, APR
Bob has more than 20 years' experience in public relations and marketing. He has served as a Director of Media Relations for the U.S. Army, with responsibilities for all of Europe, as well as for an international organization with responsibilities for information management worldwide. He also developed and directed a successful three-year marketing campaign for a governmental agency. Bob has special expertise in media relations and emergency and crisis communication planning and execution as well as the development of communication plans to support business agendas. Over the past few years, he has developed extensive knowledge and experience in using Internet applications to further business goals. Bob received his Bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University and a Master of Arts degree from Marshall University. He currently is an Adjunct Lecturer with Indiana University and Ball State University Schools of Journalism.
 
 

Mike Garrard

Peg Glover, APR
Peg Glover has many years of award-winning experience in media relations, strategic communications campaign writing and implementation, community relations, television commercial production and advertising. Her other areas of expertise include educational outreach programs, advertising and marketing for the performing arts, event planning, as well as speech and feature writing. Peg has also developed and implemented several successful distance-learning programs for the professional performing arts community in Indianapolis and has taught Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communications for Vincennes University. She is a member of The Public Relations Society of America and has served on the board of directors for The Hoosier Chapter of The Public Relations Society of America.
 
 

Honi Marleen Goldman
Honi has an extraordinary track record in creating, planning and executing triumphant media events, nontraditional volunteer projects and advocacy agendas at local, state and federal levels. Her seminar, "How to Live in a Co-Dependent Relationship With the Press", has audiences chanting: "The media is my friend. The media is my friend." Honi’s access to print and broadcast news organizations has earned media coverage for her clients in the millions of dollars. A former press secretary to a member of Congress, Honi is an expert on nonpartisan election law and has repeatedly been consulted by more than fifty local, state, federal and judicial politicians as well as businesses, organizations and individuals.

A frequent editorial and feature writer for The Courier Journal in Louisville, she has field produced for both NBC and CBS networks. Her award-winning documentaries include the first exposé on breast implant surgery and a program on the zealous fans of dead actor, James Dean.

 
 

Bob Gordon
Over the past 40 years, Bob has earned his living both as an entrepreneur, and as an employee of both small and large family owned and large publicly owned companies.He has been an executive for broadcasting and production companies and has held various positions with CBS Radio and Television, Susquehanna Broadcasting; The Bingham Companies; and SFN Companies. He is the founder and owner of Gordon Communications; Co-founder and principal of Convention Channel; and co-founder and principal of The Auto Channel and Video2Net.Com. His areas of expertise include: Interactive media; Radio and TV station management and sales; Radio and TV commercial and program production (Business Television Production (for companies such as: GE, Humana, General Dynamics, Information Access Company, Sea Ray Boats, ETC.); International TV syndication; Radio and TV station design and construction; TV post-production facility design and construction; Radio and TV station management.
 
 

Stuart Hirsch

An award-wining business writer and editor for more than 25 years, Stuart has a broad knowledge of public policy, business, finance and commercial and residential development. He served as an assistant city editor and Statehouse reporter for The Indianapolis Star where he covered business-related legislative issues, regulated industries and budget matters. He also served as assistant business editor of The Indianapolis News; and Statehouse bureau chief, assistant city editor and reporter for Chesapeake Publishing Corp. In addition, he has also written for The Baltimore Sun and The Washington Post.

Stuart was a founding partner of an Indianapolis-based public relations firm in 2005. The company has provided public relations counsel, branding advice and advertising services for investment banking and capital management companies, national service organizations, political candidates, trade associations and public service utilities.

He holds a degree in journalism and urban affairs from The American University in Washington, D.C.

 
 

Vijay Krishna, Ph. D.
Dr. Krishna has over 14 years of research experience in both quantitative and qualitative methods. He has his doctoral degree in Communication and Advertising with a minor in quantitative methods and International marketing. Vijay’s research clients include several for profit, not-for-profit and government agencies in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and outside the US. Dr. Krishna has also published several research papers in noted academic journals.
 
 

Stacey McArthur
Stacey McArthur has written for newspapers, consumer magazines, trade publications, Web sites, nonprofit organizations and major corporations during her 15-year journalism and public relations career. During that time, she has received numerous awards for her feature and business writing.

She also has lent her skills to dozens of corporate clients as a freelance writer, marketer and public relations specialist. She has developed extensive knowledge and experience in several areas including medical associations, hospitality, timeshare and gourmet food. Stacey has developed and implemented several media relations campaigns and also helped companies with branding and identification.

Stacey earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University and holds a master’s degree in journalism/public relations from Ball State University.

 
 

Traci Nelson-Albertson

Traci Nelson-Albertson is a versatile graphic designer with more than 22 years of professional experience. Traci works closely with clients and copywriters
to conceptualize and produce effective marketing vehicles to meet the clients’ objectives. Professional assignments have included corporate identity campaigns, direct mail packages, advertisements, wall displays, trade show booths and convention materials, owner/member kits, annual reports and newsletters.

Former president of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) in Indianapolis. She has been employed as an art director for Resort Condominiums International (RCI), United Student Aid Group and owner of I Design LLC. She has been an officer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Crossroads Kiwanis International chapter in Indianapolis and is a past chairman and member of the American Resort Development Association Awards Committee. She currently serves as a board member for the Fort Benjamin Harrison YMCA.

 
 

Patrick Pfister

For over thirty years, Pat has been telling stories with the images he creates.

He got his start with a local newspaper and has since been published in such journalistic endeavors as Life Magazine-Pictures of the Year, The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Wine Spectator and Barron’s.

Beyond his editorial experience, Pat has been honored to photograph the nation’s first hand transplant for Jewish Hospital. He has covered many of Elaine Chao’s speaking engagements for the US Department of Labor. He has also worked extensively with Indiana University and Goodwill Industries.

Pat’s studio is in Louisville, Kentucky and he offers a full range of services including but not limited to job coordination, image manipulation and image archiving and management. Pat enjoys working in the studio on advertising projects and executive portraiture but he also enjoys traveling to do on-location assignments.

Pat’s vision in photography is only strengthened by his passion and drive to successfully achieve each client’s goals.


Doug Stern
Doug Stern is an award-winning business writer and editor with nearly 30 years experience in a variety of industries. Clients have included Humana Inc., the Michigan Department of Transportation, and the Louisville Regional Airport Authority along with tourism agencies, medical practices, law firms, real estate ventures, health care start-ups and more.

He’s earned several PR and business communication awards, including first place for Editorial Writing from the Society of Professional Journalists.

From 1998 to 2005, Doug was the top marketing manager for a regional, 250-attorney law firm with offices in eight cities. While there, he handled every kind of business development writing assignment you can think of.

He joined the firm after having owned and run a full-service marketing communication agency for nearly 10 years. Before that, Doug was a political speech-writer and handler and, before that, he ran two award-winning heritage programs.

 
 

Donna Vissing

Donna has 25 years experience in public relations and marketing across a broad range of industries including media, corporate, consumer, advertising, membership, financial, health-care, entertainment, non-profit, tourism and lifestyle. Client list includes Ad-Tech Productions, McDonald’s, Jewish Hospital, Home Builders Association of Louisville, The National Center for Family Literacy, Porcelain Metals Manufacturing, Geiger Public Relations, New Albany Floyd County Schools to highlight a few.

Focused areas of expertise are strategic planning, brand marketing, account management, writing, campaign development and implementation, collaboration with and within advertising environments, e-commerce, B2B, consensus-building, community relations, public affairs, media relations, producing and production for media and other outlets.

Media and promotional campaigns have been recognized by prestigious awards such as the Good Buy Award, given by Good Housekeeping Institute and the Public Relations Society of America’s Landmark Achievement Award, and several 1st Place honors in video production and producing. Her published writings are with The Courier-Journal, Dallas Morning News and Press-Enterprise. She is currently Travel & Vacation Editor for The Auto Channel.

A member of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Donna is a civic leader advocate. A 2000 graduate of the Bingham Fellows and 1999 graduate of Leadership Louisville, she is founder of the civic organization, Regional Leadership Coalition. Donna has served as Board member with The Louisville Ballet, The Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities, Regional Leadership Coalition and Mint Jubilee. She has served and/or chaired committees for the Masters Council with PRSA, Kentucky Opera, The Nutcracker Ball, Kentucky Derby Festival Thoroughbreds, Billy Graham Crusade, nationally-recognized celebrity golf tournaments and Metro United Way.

 
 

Emily Whalin

Emily has more than 15 years experience in promoting and enhancing the image of various organizations. With nine years in the higher education arena, she has specialized in obtaining national media coverage, planning successful special events, and assisting organizations with their overall public relations planning. As part of the news bureau team for GE Consumer & Industrial, she has assisted with media placements for new appliance product launches in USA Today, The New York Times, Popular Science Magazine and the NBC-TV Today program, among others.

Emily has coordinated a number of successful special events such as grand openings, news conferences and a university presidential inauguration. During her career, she has served as a public relations manager with responsibilities for speechwriting, publications and media spokesperson. Emily is also a past president of the Bluegrass Chapter of The Public Relations Society of America.
